"Sustainable Development" is a society goal requiring current needs to be met through the utilization of scarce resources without harming the livelihood of future generations.
ASICS Group supports "Sustainable Development" by ensuring that all its activities work towards this goal."ASICS CSR Policy" and "ASICS Code of Conduct" set out this commitment.
All ASICS Group members are committed to following these company rules in their daily activities and contributing to "Sustainable Development".

ASICS Corporate Social Responsibility Policy -For Sustainable growth-

ASICS was founded with a strong will to make a positive impact on society by supporting the growth of youth through sports. Living up to our Founding Philosophy, we aim to contribute to the world’s sustainable growth by creating a quality lifestyle for people all over the world.
In our pursuit to implement our “Corporate Philosophy” stated in “ASICS SPIRIT”, the entire ASICS Group shall respect and strongly commit itself to the following “ASICS CSR Principles” and strive towards fulfilling social responsibility.

1. ASICS Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Principles

We shall respect all of the following principles in any business situation.

  • 1)Stakeholder engagement
  •  We understand and respect our stakeholders’ expectation and interests. By listening, learning and with an open dialogue, we will establish relationships of trust, reciprocity and mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • 2)Respect for human rights and encourage sound development of individuals
  •  Respect for human rights are to be the basis of any relationship; in any of our businesses and in any country, culture or situation. Furthermore, we encourage sound individual development through creative and ambitious activities.
  • 3)Ethical behavior and Compliance
  •  Honesty, fairness and integrity form the foundation of our business ethics. We comply with all applicable laws and relevant regulations in any countries and regions where we conduct business, while respecting international norms of behavior.
  • 4)Accountability and Transparency
  •  We will appropriately report our decision-making, business activities and their impacts on society and the environment. We will disclose that information in an appropriate, clear and accurate manner.

Respecting the CSR principles, we will strive towards implementing the following CSR Objectives based on our Corporate Philosophy.

     Share profits brought by our sound services with our shareholders, communities and employees

ASICS Code of Conduct

ASICS aims to become a respected and accepted company by all people based on “ASICS SPIRIT” and “ASICS CSR Policy” which shows the fundamental views of Management. To achieve it, all directors, officers and employees of ASICS Group need to behave professionally. “ASICS Code of Conduct” sets out the basic standards to be complied with by all members of ASICS Group during their daily activities and in each decision.
All directors, officers and employees in ASICS Group are required to review, understand and comply with this Code.

1. Integrity to customer
  • 1) Create innovative values and meet customer needs
  •  We continue to create technological innovations and strive to create products and services for a quality lifestyle. We listen to customer’s’opinions and reflect them in our products and services development and business activities.
  • 2) Safety of products and services
  •  We shall comply with applicable laws and regulations related to safety, and maintain sufficient quality management systems to provide safe products and services to our customers. When any accident or safety problem happens while using our products and services, we shall promptly take appropriate action with integrity.
  • 3) Appropriate display, description and advertising
  •  We shall provide accurate and appropriate information of our products and services to our customers. We shall not violate human dignity with our advertisements.
  • 4) Respect customer’s privacy
  •  We shall highly respect the privacy of our customers, such as appropriately managing their personal formation.
2. Appropriate relation with Society and Environment
  • 1) Refuse any relation with anti-social forces
  •  We shall refuse any relation with anti-social forces or groups that threaten to disrupt the order and safety of civil society.
  • 2) Compliance and respect for regional culture
  •  We shall comply with applicable laws and regulations of any countries and regions related to environment and lifestyle, and respect for regional customs and culture.
  • 3) Contribute to sports culture and community
  •  We engage in community activities and aim to make a positive contribution to community development through sports culture, health and others.
  • 4) Minimize environmental impact
  •  We seek to minimize environmental impacts by saving resources and energy, reducing waste, green procurement, and preventing environmental contamination.
3. Fair business activities
  • 1) Disciplined business activities
  •  We shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations of any countries and regions as well as company regulations related to business activities, and respect appropriate business practices in each country and region.
  • 2) Ban of big rigging, cartels and dumping*
  •  We shall not engage in big rigging, cartels, dumping and other information exchange that may appear to be activities that prevent free competition.
  • 3) Limits on entertainment and gifts
  •  We shall not accept or provide entertainment and gifts that exceed general good business practice.
  • 4) Appropriate relations with our business partners
  •  We shall not exploit our trading position to create disadvantages for our business partners.
  • 5) Recognize the value of intellectual property
  •  We shall strive to protect corporate intellectual property rights, and shall not violate the rights of others.
  • 6) Protect corporate assets
  •  We shall be responsible for protecting company assets both intangible and tangible, and do not engage in activities to damage them.
  • 7) Safeguard of confidential information
  •  We shall be responsible for safeguarding confidential information and do not disclose it to others without due reason.
  • 8) Distinction between public and private interests
  •  We shall clearly draw a line between our public position as a member of the company and as a private individual, and never confuse public and private interests.
  • 9) Ban of insider trading
  •  We shall not engage in insider trading or trade of shares or bonds that may appear to be insider trading.
  • 10) Appropriate corporate publication and disclosure
  •  We shall announce and disclose our business situation and overall business activities to our shareholders, investors and customers in timely, appropriate, accurate and understandable manner.
4. Maintain sound workplace
  • 1) Health and safety in workplace
  •  We shall comply with all company regulations related to labor conditions, and strive to make a healthy, safe and productive working environment.
  • 2) Eliminate discrimination
  •  We shall respect each other and shall not discriminate on the basis of gender, age, origin, nationality, race, ethnic origin, creed, religion, sickness or disability.
  • 3) Eliminate harassment
  •  We shall not engage in sexual harassment, power harassment or other harassment in any situation.
  • 4) Respect of privacy
  •  We shall highly respect the privacy of individuals, such as appropriately managing personal information.
