Proper Disclosure of Information Suitable for an Open Corporation

　We try to be recognized by stakeholders as an open corporation by disclosing corporate information more effectively and in a form that is easy to understand by the use of our website, the CSR Report, and the ASICS Correspondence.

　ASICS wishes to broaden stakeholders' understanding on the company's policies by keeping close bilateral communication with various stakeholders.
　For this purpose, we remodeled the previous annual report (To Our Shareholders) as ASICS Correspondence from the FY2005 issue (April 1, 2005 - March 31, 2006). This renewal was intended to make the contents easier to read and understand not only for shareholders, but also for investors, business partners, and students who look upon us as a possible future employer. It is an expression of our desire to be better understood.
　Currently, we publish the leaflet twice a year --- once for the term finishing at the end of September and another at the end of March --- containing, in addition to a message from the President, various news on the business operation presented in a way that is cordial and easy to assimilate.

　This year, we publish the third volume of the CSR Report.
　For the past three years, we have been expressing ourselves using a certain type of image on the front cover of the CSR Report --- our desire to be in touch with our stakeholders. The concept behind it being, that we want the report to be a record of a trail leading us to "communication", which is also the theme for this year.
　We wish to compete and have a good time through sports and fitness, and share with the readers the ties, empathy, and excitement between our people.
