P.H.F™ (Personal Heel Fit) Collar Lining

2 layers of memory foam line the collar and mold to the athlete’s heel, creating a personalized fit.

Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL® Cushioning Systems

Attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases, and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle.

Trusstic System® Technology

Reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe.

SpEVA® Midsole Material

Improves bounce back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown.

AHAR® Outsole

Acronym for ASICS® High Abrasion Rubber. Placed in critical areas of the outsole for exceptional durability.

Shoe Care

Shoe Care

Mud and dirt can be removed using a toothbrush, warm water and gentle, anti-grease soap. Apply light pressure when brushing to avoid damaging your shoe.

Do not wash your shoes in a washing machine. To help freshen the inside of your shoe, remove the sock-liner or insole and wash it separately. Laces can be washed or replaced.

Do not place your shoes in the dryer or near direct heat. The heat will alter the shape of the shoe. Instead, stuff the inside of your shoe with paper towels or newspaper. The paper will absorb the dampness inside the shoe.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No go I play high level table tennis 4 days a week. I also use the shoes for racquetball. I'm on my third pair of intensity 3. I returned the other two pairs. The sole will separate. Intensity 2 was excellent for me. I like Asics overall. Don't purchase!!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from ...Poor Quality - great shoe I have been wearing Asics - exclusively - for 40 years. in recent years, i have owned 5 pairs of Asics Gel Intensity shoes. They, like all Asics, are a great shoe. i work out 3x a week - always indoors. i don't run. i purchased my Intensity 3s in April - by June, the sole was separating from the shoe. This is my second set of Asics Intensity 3s - i had the exact same problem with the first pair. When i called Asics regarding the first pair, i got the party line - send them to us - we'll inspect them - then we'll make a determination.....i'm sure you guys get it. fortunately, i bought my second pair from Amazon - they don't need to inspect them - they immediately emailed a free shipping label - you know the rest. so now - i'm looking for a cross fit shoe - i love this shoe - it fits great - does what it's supposed to do but it's not that well made. i really hate to leave Asics. just my two cents.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from wait for the next version of gel intensity Gel Intensity 2 was an amazing training shoe. I used them for years ! The '3' lacks the support, quality and performance characteristics the was inherent in the '2'. Shame on Asics for taking a step backwards when they had such a good thing going. Hopefully the '4' will address the flaws...we'll see !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is a good shoe for comfort The Intensity 2 was a real cross trainer, they need to re manufacture that shoe and call it the Intensity 4 because the 3 is not supportive, too soft, not serious lateral movement support. I am an Asics fan and I got the 3 for Insanity workouts which is a lot of jumping and lateral. With this shoe, mission failed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great blend of comfort and performance Not sure what happened to the other two people who reviewed this shoe but my experience is completely opposite. I also have been wearing Asics for 20+ years, but have recently been purchasing training shoes instead of running shoes (due to change in activities and use of shoe). Intensity 2 was a solid shoe, nothing bad to say, just usual Asics quality and comfort. The Intensity 3, for me stepped it up a notch. The running-style fit is much more comfortable and makes the shoe more versatile. The Gel cushioning is fabulous as always, and I find the material to be much more durable than most of the running shoes I wore (Nimbus, Kayano, Neo33). I really hope Asics keeps most of the current features in the new update.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor quality material I have this shoes for 2 months and it is falling apart. It's made of a very poor quality material. Don't buy it go for another model like the nimbus or the kayano.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Asic shoe I ever ordered over 20 years Have worn Asic shoes for 20 years. The original Intensity was the best shoe I ever had. The Asic 2 was a complete failure and the Asic 3 is at the bottom. Made in Malasia, poor quality material, fit and finish. The tongue was not aligned and too narrow, exposing the top of my sock covered foot. It was not true to size and width, making it very uncomfortable. I returned them to Shoes On Line immediately. I have always trusted Asic but begin to question after my Intensity 2 and now 3 experience. This shoe is not worth the price. It should be discontinued.
