Severe Over
Pronation is how a runner's foot rolls medially between footfall and toe-off. Underpronation is when the foot rolls outwards, overpronation is when it rolls inwards, and a neutral pattern is when little rolling occurs.

Matching a shoe's properties with the runner's running style will increase comfort, running efficiency, and contribute to decreasing the risk of injury.

I.G.S® (Impact Guidance System) Technology

ASICS® design philosophy that employs linked componentry to enhance the foot's natural gait from heel strike to toe-off.

Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL® Cushioning Systems

Attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases, and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle.

Dynamic DuoMax™ Support System

This evolution of DuoMax™ system enhances stability and support, with reduced weight and increased platform support.

Solyte® Midsole Material

A lighter weight midsole compound than ASICS' standard EVA and SpEVA®. Also features enhanced cushioning and durability.

Propulsion Trusstic® Technology

Mimics connective tissue in the foot by creating tension as foot enters propulsion stage.

Guidance Line® Midsole Technology

Vertical flex groove decouples the tooling along the line of progression for enhanced gait efficiency.

Seamless Construction

The use of seamless materials reduces the potential for irritation and friction caused by traditional stitches and seams.

Perforated Sockliner

Optimizes moisture drainage and improves breathability.

Elastic Laces

A classic triathlon feature allowing a runner to put the shoe on quickly, easily, and securely.

Heel and Tongue Grips

Improves grip even in wet conditions for ease of putting on and faster transition.

WET GRIP® Outsole

An outsole made from a special blend of organic and non-organic components, designed to enhance traction even on wet surfaces.

Glow-in-the-Dark Print

Glow-in-the-Dark print provides added visibility in low light conditions.

Shoe Care

Shoe Care

Mud and dirt can be removed using a toothbrush, warm water and gentle, anti-grease soap. Apply light pressure when brushing to avoid damaging your shoe.

Do not wash your shoes in a washing machine. To help freshen the inside of your shoe, remove the sock-liner or insole and wash it separately. Laces can be washed or replaced.

Do not place your shoes in the dryer or near direct heat. The heat will alter the shape of the shoe. Instead, stuff the inside of your shoe with paper towels or newspaper. The paper will absorb the dampness inside the shoe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for short runs - excelent for Tri Races Good : - very light and comfortable - you can wear them without socks - good stability for the foot Bad : - i didn't find them comfortable on the long runs (over 12 km) because of the lack of the gel in the forefoot area.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoe I bought this shoe a few weeks ago after having run out my noosra tri 10's. These are the best shoes I have found that are light enough to race in and don't hurt my knees due to over pronation. The only issue is they seem to run a half size smaller than the noosra 10.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Training for Boston 2016 A few years ago I tried my luck with the Nimbus, however my feet just could not adjust to it. I gave up after 4 runs or so. The shoe would not break in so I used other makes and models. Recently, I did some high-elevation training for the Boston marathon in my hometown of Shiprock New Mexico. A local salesman introduced me to the Noosa Tri 11. I guess with age I became a slight pronator and the Noosa provided me with the stability I needed. Moreover, I was really impressed with how light they were. It took only 2 runs, roughly 4 miles each, to really establish my foot placement and break in. For my third run, I ran a half marathon. The wear and impact on the soles were remarkable, as NM is known to have sandstone and very sharp-jagged surfaces. Upon returning to Boston, all running was on sidewalks and roads, with the occasional dirt trail. On marathon day, I decided to go with the speed lace. This was really helpful, especially with taking them off after. Roughly 70 percent of my running group wears Asics and I knew there was a pair for me. I will definitely purchase a few more pairs for next year's marathon. I know a few people wear this style without socks and I might give that a go next time.
