The GEL-NIMBUS™ 9 sneaker was initially designed as a distance trainer for neutral and supinated runners. First released in 2007, this shoe resurfaces with original materials and key accent details. Its industrial look from the Y2K era is also offset with bold contrast and color blocking. In this era of our performance footwear, we shifted towards a more segmented midsole design. With GEL™ technology inserts in the heel and forefoot, this tooling helped create better cushioning and a more stable step.

Great retro trainers
I bought these as I regularly run in gel nimbus but my podiatrist suggested I should be wearing running trainers all the time for support as I get plantar fasciitis. These are perfect as they are retro style running trainers, wouldn't run in them, but they look great with jeans etc and are more supportive than standard trainers.
