Since our founding in 1949, our purpose has been to help people achieve a sound mind in a sound body. But in order to achieve a sound mind, we need a sound earth to run on.
So we’re taking action – reducing CO2 emissions, embracing recycled materials and using less resources, to continue bringing the benefits of movement to the world we love to run in.
We are all learning, all the time.
To highlight the importance of everyday sustainability, ASICS hosted a group of runners at an insightful, reflective environmental retreat at IslandWood in Bainbridge Island, Washington.

Circularity means going back to where you started.
ASICS takes a circular business approach to address climate change, with the goals to use less materials, make products that last longer in a cleaner way, and recycle more.
Design – Create items that use fewer resources and are easier to recycle.
Materials – Utilize recycled, bio-based and more water-efficient options.
Production – Source renewable energy and manufacture efficiently and clean.
Use – Constantly improve quality so products last even longer.
End of Life – Take items back for reuse and recycling.
