As Senior Credit Controller, you’ll oversee a portfolio of accounts and build strong relationships with our business partners. You’ll act as the main point of contact for our customers for all invoice-related matters. And you’ll be responsible for ensuring effective credit management and minimising risk for the company.

We’re looking for a Senior Credit Controller who has strong communication skills in English and Polish, pays close attention to detail, and can easily analyse financial data. Someone with a proven interest in accounting or financial and commercial analysis. A proactive team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who knows their way around Microsoft Excel.

How you’ll help us.
Based at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam and reporting to the Team Lead Credit Control, you will:
- Monitor overdue debtors, identify and action significant collection risk issues, and minimise overall Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Solve disputes as quickly and effectively as possible to get the invoice(s) paid.
- Request, adjust and assess credit limits for new and existing customers with our credit agency.
- Monitor credit-related delivery blocks and oversee the release of customer deliveries.
- Proactively report and discuss receivables (and overdue) positions on a (bi-)weekly basis with relevant Commercial teams.
More about you.
- Qualification in Business Administration or a comparable qualification.
- Around 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar position.
- Good communication skills in both written and verbal English and Polish.
- Good negotiation skills (in all levels of business) and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience in collections with a bigger retail chain is a plus.
