Thousands of runners took to the streets of London yesterday for the Virgin Sport ASICS London 10K. The route passed some of the capitals most iconic landmarks, including Trafalgar Square, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey.
Together, runners raised an estimated £2.2 million for more than 300 charitable causes, including Cancer Research UK, Great Ormond Street Hospital and The Katie Piper Foundation.
Amongst the 9,000 runners we had over 70 ASICS FrontRunners from all over the world taking part in the event.
As well as hosting the Saturday Breakfast run from the ASICS store, the ASICS FrontRunners were also amongst some of the official race pacers and warm up acts at the start. We were also lucky enough to be joined by Commonwealth Games Athlete and ASICS Ambassador Dewi Griffiths for brunch and a Q&A session after the run.
The weekend was a great opportunity to spend time together as a team, enjoy the city and create some great photography.
