Wrong Direction
Have been buying Black Kayanos for over 10 years and this latest update , Kayano 30, has departed from having its own design character and is now mimicking the latest trend in running shoes with an oversized sole . Asics has intelligently always maintained an option for an all black Kayano which I would venture o say are chosen mostly to be an all round shoe, rather than just the running shoe. In my opinion Asics should return the Black Kayano to a sort of "classic" with subtle changes from year to year, rather that the type of departure exhibited in this latest version.

Great distance trainer
Good spring on these trainers but also easy on the knees, which is great for longer runs. I found the stabilisation of these trainers to be quite subtle, which was good.

Asics does it again with Kayano 30
My 10th pair of Kayanos and they keep getting better, so comfortable and supportive for my dodgy feet. Can’t go past black/black as an all rounder especially when you are on your feet all day. Do yourself a favour and try these. You won’t look back.

Correct fit or correction shoes?
Not sure - so bulky they feel like corrective or medically driven shoes and I prefer previous styles which also felt more neutral and supportive.

All the comfort plus the stability !
I generally wear a neutral shoe with orthotics but after a recent injury and gait analysis I was recommended to try a shoe with increased stability and the Gel Kayano 30 were my immediate choice and I bought directly from the ASICS.com site. The increased stability is obvious, they fit really well (true to size) and my initial run was very comfortable! My new long run and easy run shoe is definitely Kayano now !
Delivery was also very quick !!!
