Moving Minds. Together.

Our purpose and our mission at ASICS is to support more people to move for positive mental health. It’s the reason why we partner with mental health charity Mind.

Now more than ever, we need to take action.

Recent years have put more strain on the mental wellbeing of millions of people. ASICS is committed to taking action and shine a light on sport’s unique ability to uplift minds. Mind shares our belief in the power of sport and exercise to positively support mental health. And while not the answer for everyone, we believe encouraging and supporting more people to be more active is a step in the right direction.

You are helping to make an impact.

By partnering with Mind, we aim to support more people to improve their mental health by becoming more physically active.

And with your support, we’ve already started to make an impact.

Since partnering with Mind in 2021, ASICS campaigns involving many of you have raised valuable funds.

Funds raised help Mind to provide frontline support to those most in need. And more specifically, have enabled Mind to set up ASICS Get Active Run Clubs and conduct valuable research into mental health in elite athletes.

Funding ASICS Get Active running groups.

With your support, funds raised have enabled the team at Mind to establish 12 ASICS Get Active running groups across the UK.

Focusing on communities most in need, the team at Mind has established new running groups that are supporting more people to get active.

The feedback and response have been overwhelmingly positive. Simply getting out and moving more is making a real difference.

Final quote

Supporting more people to move in 2023.

Our shared goal with Mind is to support almost 10,000 people to improve their mental health through becoming physically active in their local communities – prioritising people facing the greatest inequalities.

With your support, we aim to increase the confidence and knowledge of over 400 coaches and physical activity professionals within those communities.

And will continue to raise awareness of the link between physical activity and mental health, and how people can access support.
