MATFLEX 5 is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 51.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good shoe but didn't last long I bought this shoe about 6 months ago for martial arts training. However towards the end the sides of the shoes through the meshing split leaving the side of my feet hanging out in the breeze. Not sure whether I just got a faulty batch but fairly disappointed that this happened.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are great, cheap shoes that lasted me all through pre-season, high school winter (practice every weekday and tournaments every weekend) and now into freestyle. I will say they aren't the most durable wrestling shoes out there but for the price they are awesome

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great general gym shoe Was looking for something flat, with good grip and that was comfortable for lifting weights. These are exactly what I was looking for. Very stable for squatting and deadlifting and comfortable. Can be laced tightly for more stability or worn loose for more comfort. Fairly tight fitting, if you are wavering between two sizes on which to get, get the bigger one Comfort rated at a 4 because they are totally flat soled like i said above, in this case thats exactly what I wanted (and expected from a wrestling shoe)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good shoe I purchased these to use for powerlifting purposes. Despite being used not for its intended purpose, this is still a quality product! Better than other, similar shoes on the market (from perhaps a bigger brand). One drawback is the sizing. Make sure you buy at least a half to full size bigger than what you usually wear! Im a UK 12 (US 13) usually, but i had to go up to a UK 13 (US 14).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purpose was for sons boxing I bought these for my sons up and coming Boxing competition. He is registered disabled and is regarded as the only "Para disabled" Boxer competing in mainstream boxing in the UK. He is very particular about material texture etc. He also requires good fitting, and manoeuvrability The boots are first class, providing good grip and stability which is very important. The boots are very comfortable he tells me. The boots certainly help his balance and co-ordination around the ring. They look very nice, and are effective. The stitching is excellent and the sole really gives great grip, but also allows the person to pivot. They are very well made and finished .Quality materials and really nice subtle branding

Rated 3 out of 5 by from shoe quality and size I wear a size 10 in Asics running shoes, I ordered the wrestling shoes and when in received them they were at least one size too small and the listed size was 10 on the shoe. The shoe looked good, but again the sizing was way off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The labelled size is the correct size. I came to leave a comment because of all the people complaining that the size is too small. ALL wrestling shoes are small, as they should be. You dont want your foot to move around in the shoe when there are such extreme lateral forces going on. Wrestling shoes are used for two main purposes, wrestling and sumo deadlifting in powerlifting. In both sports lateral forces are so great its enough to make normal shoes rotate on your feet! You want a shoe that feels like it is PART of your foot, that the sole of the shoe is glued to the sole of your foot. I have very normal proportioned feet and the shoes were the correct size according to the label for me. They are snug fitting when new, especially with socks. But over the months and possibly years a user expects of their shoe there will be a little stretch, the material of these shoes is very supple. So it is better to start smaller than larger.
