Your role in our shared journey
As Key Account Manager located at ASICS Nordic Head Office in Gothenburg, you will drive profitable market share growth with assigned customers and establish winning strategic partnerships with our retailers.
As Key Account Manager, you will develop and execute Sales Strategies and focus on joint Category and Strategic Business Planning with the retailers to drive commercial results. You will be the expert in understanding the account strategy and translate it into specific initiatives to drive growth as well as balancing the execution of growth driving initiatives, prioritization of customer portfolio, planning and monitoring of account specific business plans.
Bold yet thorough, you’ll bring new ideas to the table that you’ll constantly refine to help us better engage with our customers. Your hands-on approach and ability to work with others will impact brand consideration and help our staff and partners in their everyday tasks.
Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step. In the role, you’ll be part of our Swedish Sales Team and report into our Sales Manager Sweden.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Responsible to lead and drive the development of the ASICS brands' business with your assigned customer portfolio and ensure consistent implementation of our sales strategy.
- Creating the account strategies of the ASICS brands' business with the respective key accounts through formalization of Strategic and Seasonal Account Plans.
- Providing realistic plans and forecasts on customer performance and ensure customer compliance with agreements.
- Running sell-in meetings, create seasonal product assortments and go-to-market plans and agree on sell-out support in conjunction with support of the Marketing and Merchandising teams.
- Understanding the Customer's business and ensure a correct follow up and accurate reporting of the account in your customer portfolio.
- Analysing and understanding sell-out measures and seek to support sell-out with re-order opportunities.
- Ensuring continuous monitoring of sell-out and the order book as well as reliable and cost-efficient supply. Ensure customer compliance with ASICS group's contracts and terms.
- To work within the agreed ASICS trade terms and within the agreed distribution framework with assigned customer.
- To work close to Marketing, Customer Service and Finance to assure an excellent customer management to the accounts.
- Measuring progress on own KPIs. Report to all superiors along guidelines (and monitor all reports).
- Understanding Market and competitors: Monitor and report on customers and competitors’ activities within Key accounts and propose/initiate/take actions to a sustainable development of ASICS sales and market share.

You have the following skills:
- 4-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably from FMCG or Sporting goods industry.
- Good command of written and spoken Swedish and English.
- Knowledge of relevant systems and applications.
- Strong in strategic and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Advanced in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
