The NOVABLAST™ 2 shoe is a great way to meet your training goals while moving towards a clear mindset. For the second version of this series, we wanted to create a smoother and more responsive feel underfoot.
Part of the ASICS PLATINUM™ collection, this model features a silver colour palette that's accented with a metallic finish.
The TPU heel stabiliser is designed to improve support while producing a smoother stride.
By fine-tuning the FF BLAST™ cushioning, the shoe offers a softer landing and a more energetic rebound.
The outsole's wider base creates a more balanced landing while propelling your foot forward.

How your foot contacts the ground
The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.

Pleasantly surprised!
Asics makes a great product, but I was still pleasantly surprised! I thought that tread wear would be sacrificed in order to accommodate the great comfort and cushioning this shoe provides. I was wrong! The shoe continues to hold-up with advanced mileage!

Very responsive
I was a bit apprehensive about switching to Novablast as I have always used Nimbus or Cumulus in the past and had read reviews about the structure of the Novablast not being as good in terms of support, however having read reviews about this improving in the Novablast 2 series I decided to give these a try.
I have to say I had no issues at all they felt just as good as the Cumulus or Nimbus for support but the sole is bigger and definitely has more bounce. When running with them you just feel like there is a good spring in your step and they are definitely a bit more responsive.
The design of the runner is very pleasing on the eye too and would definitely recommend these.

Definite keepers!
Very light, good support, cushy and comfortable. Like the platinum option. I’m a woman that is forced to wear men’s because my size is always sold out. It works fine, I just wish these were gray as pictured instead of blue gray.

Great running shoes (works casually too!)
I love these shoes! Very comfortable for running and very stylish. I was going to get gel insoles but the ones these come with are comfortable enough.
