The NOVABLAST™ 2 shoe is a great way to meet your training goals while moving towards a clear mindset. For the second version of this series, we wanted to create a smoother and more responsive feel underfoot.
Part of the ASICS PLATINUM™ collection, this model features a silver colour palette that's accented with a metallic finish.
The heel stabiliser is designed to improve support while producing a smoother stride.
By fine-tuning the FF BLAST™ cushioning, the shoe offers a softer landing and a more energetic rebound.
The outsole's wider base creates a more balanced landing while propelling your foot forward.

How your foot contacts the ground
The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.

I love this shoe. It is the most comfortable shoe I have ever bought from you. You really need to continue the novablast. I wore the black pair all of 2021. Very sad this shoe is hard to find.

Stand out comfort and wear

Super comfortable shoe!!
The shoes are very stylish. They are so comfortable. Although the shoes look like they would be heavy they are very light. They give you a spring in every step. I’ve noticed a pop sensation as I walk in the right shoe but I don’t hear a sound but I get that sensation. It just started to occur after 1 week of wear but doesn’t occur frequently. I would definitely buy these again. These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve bought in a long time.

Great support in a sneaker for running
This is a very supportive and just the right cushion in the heel, toe and arch, yet fashionable shoe; however, the back cushion paint is already starting to wear off in just a few weeks' time.

Please continue this design forever
Best combination of the lightest and cushiest shoe I've ever worn. I wear them when I am trying to pr my mile time or for my longer (~10miles) runs on the road. I run about 20 miles a week. Not a lot but they are fast miles (6min/mile range). I'm 120lbs so I can feel a point-something oz difference in the shoe weight. I've tried comparable shoes from saucony and hoka but had to come back to the novablast. Although, I do prefer the original novablast design. I can't point a finger on a specific change but I remember liking the feel of that better than the 2. Love the designs of the platinums.

Shoes I didn't know I needed.
Like walking on clouds. Extreme cushion. Some people might not like it, but it's surprisingly easy getting used to. Saves my knees when carrying/lugging around a toddler and newborn!
