FOOT ID is a destination area within the store providing static and dynamic measurements, including foot shape analysis and gait cycle analysis. ASICS FOOT ID static measures the foot shape. The advanced Static 3D Foot Mapping System analyses your foot using laser and micro cameras. Measurements made by the system include foot length, forefoot width, ball girth, arch height and heel tilt. and ASICS FOOT ID dynamic analyze the consumer’s gait while running. It helps runners find the most suitable shoes to draw the last ounce of performance out of them. This involves running on a treadmill for a few minutes while your feet are filmed. The images are then analysed by an ASICS expert. The focus of gait analysis is to measure your degree of pronation. Based on this analysis you can try on shoes that match your pronation pattern.
