GEL-RESOLUTION 8 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 125.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Quality like the support and comfort, except I have a high instep, so I am not sure if I like the "straps" that are part of the laces. I might want to cut those out, but not sure if it will affect the integrity of the sneaker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stabiel en comfortabel Een beetje stijf in het begin, maar na ongeveer 30 minuten helemaal goed. Rennen over de baseline of sprinten voor drop shots, het voelt allemaal erg comfortabel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent shoe Excellent shoe, very stable and comfortable. One gripe is that there is fixed strap across the lower end of the laces. This limits how much the laces can be loosened nearer the toes. I have a high instep and the strap (while very stylist) is slightly annoying. This strap is probably necessary to maintain the stability of the shoe, but I find it annoying. Aside from that, the fitting is wide - which for me is good. The colours are replicated in real life and delivery was quick.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Compared the the 6, I’m disappointed. The 7 was too narrow. The 8 is so wide it is meant to fit wider feet than mine, relying upon the Dynalast to secure the foot in front. An athletic shoe has never quite swamped my foot so much in the width. I appreciate the support of the shoe, but quickness suffers relative to the rest of the lineup. I feel like the maneuverable 6 became the COURT FF, but the SPEED FF shoes have been representing the best value for me, only for them to receive whopping improvements! It definitely is most upgraded line and shoe. The value in this current Resolution is good, but the durability of the outsole is showing lots of wear as well. I also find that, even though my foot requires plentiful support, the SPEED FF is not only supportive, it’s fast. But it’s a roughly 3 month shoe for me. RES is about 4. I paid top dollar for the original COURT FF and was disappointed that the bootie fit me so tightly over the top and there was nothing I could do. So I’ll be moving quickly back to the SPEED shoe. I’m not a player that generally would wear a “speed” shoe but this shoe has the support and fit I need. Writing this review has reminded me of this. I consider the SPEED line to be the new benchmark for a performance tennis shoe. The RES used to hold this title, but SPEED has taken over as the minimal-maximalist - since both shoes have more support.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Need longer shoelaces! This shoe feels great moving around the court. You do need to used the last eyelet to feel locked into the shoe and prevent heal slippage. Unfortunately they do not provide you with a long enough shoelace to used the last eyelet. Almost perfect shoe....

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A step backwards from the 7s I go through about 3-4 pairs of ASICS a year. I was a big fan of the resolution 6s and the 7s were perfect. There are several issues with the 8s. The hard material over the toe pinched when going into your toes, as in serve motions, such that I've started developing calluses on top of my toes. The new thinner laces broke pretty early on my first two pairs. But the biggest issue is with sliding. The 7s had a great, tacky grip when sliding on hard courts that was easy to control for 2 - 4 ft slides. The 8s are way too slick and my outside foot often slides out when doing lateral slides (sliding forward into dropshots is fine). I feel like the Dynawrap pulls the outside of the shoe away from the court and causes the foot to slip out. It's less reliable. Hopefully the resolution 9s with go back to what made the 7s great.
