For nearly 30 years, the GT-2000™ series has been the stability shoe of choice for a variety of runners, ranging from casual weekend warriors to top marathon finishers. If you're looking for a lightweight and cushioned running shoe to help support your foot, the GT-2000™ 9 Knit model is an excellent choice.

The fit of the GT-2000™ 9 Knit shoe has been redesigned with a one-piece knit construction to create an improved fit. This new upper material has also been reinforced in key areas for added support as the foot rolls through the gait cycle. The shoe's upper is also made with recycled materials, while the sockliner is produced with a solution dyeing process that reduces carbon emissions and water usage.

Lastly, a combination of FLYTEFOAM™ technology and GEL™ technology cushioning are positioned in the midsole to help promote lightweight comfort and reduce the overall shock from impact.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best shoe yet! I can run very well in these shoes. I have been running for almost 25 years now and 24 of those years were with Asics. I started using the GT-2000 just the past couple years and I really feel they are the best ones I have used to date. The knit version is very comfortable. Only issue is the knit shoe laces seem shorter than normal. Not an issue with the standard 2000s.

All of my running is on the road and the asics GT 2000 9 has given me all i was looking for. I was able to wear straight from the box and complete a 10k in my 3rd fastest time so i was very pleased with performance. The shoe is true to size for my size 10 feet. This is the first time i have used asics and all the internet reviews of this shoe have guided me to a product i am very happy with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heerlijke hardloopschoenen De GT-2000 serie is al jaren een schoen naar tevredenheid, zeker als je een schoen zoekt met lichte correctie. De brug zorgt er voor dat je ook goed op alleen de voorvoet kunt lopen. De KNIT uitvoering heeft een zachter bovenwerk.

I have had the older versions of the GT's and these ones are a step up. It is worth paying for the correct shoes and these certainly fit the bill. A very worthwhile purchase
