Built with a durable design to handle kids’ everyday activities that span from the school yard to the playground, the GT-1000™ GS (Grade School) shoe seeks inspiration from our performance running line.
Formed with a mesh upper construction, this shoe helps improve airflow to keep feet cool, while the removable sockliner is accented with a printed toe line so that kids and parents can check to confirm that the shoes are the right size. Following a more sustainable design approach, this shoe also uses fewer resources to color the sockliner.
The midsole unit is layered with a combination of EVA foam and GELâ„¢ technology cushioning that delivers a more responsive stride and improved shock absorption. Additionally, the outsole is paired with a stitched toe rubber and a solid rubber compound for improved durability.
Pronation is part of the natural movement of the human body and refers to the way your foot rolls inward for impact distribution upon landing. Understanding your pronation type can help you find a comfortable running shoe. The GT-1000 10 GS is made for Overpronation.
