Disappointed
The sizing seems to be inconsistent from previous models. Unfortunately, I wore out and can’t return. The front half of the shoe seems wider and no amount of tightening will correct. Also, the styling isn’t as attractive , but maybe that’s just the particular color scheme I bought.

Great shoe for long walks, up to 15 miles, on a paved path. No break-in period is needed.

If you like previous Kayanos DO NOT buy these!
I have been running in the Kayano for years. This model is significantly different, they eliminated the support feature in the mid-foot. They are also much softer in the sole, they feel great when just walking around but less than 1 mile of running my feet were killing me. I put 5k on these shoes, 1 run. ASICS would not stand behind this low quality product. I will not wear them again. I understand that sometimes changes in a product don't work but these are a gutted economy grade shoe, not a running shoe. By far not the quality I have been accustomed to from ASICS. Unless you like minimal support shoes, please do not purchase these for running.
