Rated 3 out of 5 by from Are the uppers more durable than previous models? Gel Nimbus was recommended to me by a podiatrist. Bought Nimbus 17 which only lasted 2 months before both shoes had a hole in the upper fabric. These were replaced by the shop from where they were purchased. Within 6 months the uppers were again worn through. Given that they were never used for running, only everyday walking, I was very disappointed. However, as the podiatrist insisted I needed to wear Nimbus - as they are supposedly the best cushioned trainer available (?) - I then bought Nimbus 21. Despite the soles looking almost new the uppers are again defective. Really disappointed that such an expensive trainer is not lasting longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent trainers and superb service I have 2 pairs of these in 2 diff colours and also bought the gel kayano, after trying many different types it took me awhile to find the ones to suit my feet as I've always had issues with runners and shoes skinning my feet.... The 90 day trial service was amazing with the peace of mind of knowing if they don't work out you can return them.... I got some good advice from the agents I dealt with and am delighted that I changed to Asics as someone who does 10k steps + per day.... I never have to worry about any discomfort in my feet now on my many walks.... My only regret is that I didn't find them sooner...... I'll def be sticking with Asics in the future....

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No room for toes. I have narrow feet but these shoes are for very narrow feet. I bought a size bigger than my normal size but these shoes are very tight around the toes and squeezes them together. My first time with them I did 10km and my toes were bleeding from being so squished and pushed forward in an awkward position, and I am sure I will loose the nail on at least one of my big toes. Other than that, they are comfortable on the heel, and very comfortable around the ankle. They are light and airy, so it is not hot in the shoe. They make you very tall and the style is fun. The shoe is very form fitting, like the skinny jeans of shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable & Lightweight These trainers are cushioned but the weight is extremely light especially compared to how comfortable they are. I usually wear GT-2000 but running in these has made my think I may switch! I'd happily wear these for long slow runs or speed sessions as appear to be a good shoe for both. Wide toe box which is great for me but they fit my heel snugly. I have the dark blue version which is a great winter colour and they have the nice petrol sheen on the heels. Only con I could think of is that they might not be suitable for runners who prefer a low heel drop as these do have a good amount of cushioning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gel-Nimbus 22 I was wearing Brooks’ Glycerin previously but they were needing replaced and I was suffering from a bit of ankle and knee pain. I didn’t like the updated model of the Glycerin so looked elsewhere. I was a bit unsure of the ASICS as previous reviews had described a narrower toe box and I need the opposite. The toe box may indeed be a tad narrower than I am used to but not uncomfortably so and I am delighted to say that the comfort these shoes provide is amazing. No knee or ankle pain and they literally feel like a cushion on my feet. I love them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best trainers ever I’ve bought! This is my first trainers from Asics and it will not be the last for sure. No exaggeration but this is the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever owned in my life. I have wide feet and it is hard to find both comfortable and stylish trainers but after trying these my feet felt like they were in heaven. The fit, design, quality of the material, everythimg is perfect. It is totally worth the price. I’m planning to save some money and get another one in a dark colour.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I've been wearing Asics Gel Nimbus for at least six years as they are the only trainers that are cushioned and supportive enough that I don't get pain in my feet. I have to change my shoes every ~3 months so I go through them! I stocked up on 20's as they were the best but sadly am down to my last pair and now unable to find them in stock anywhere online, so I tried the 22's. They have sufficient cushioning and fit ok but they have a weird clumpy heel that completely alters my foot strike? I feel they are trying to be a fashion trainer not a proper high quality supportive cushioned running shoe and they are definitely not ok for my feet. Really sad as the 21's were no good either, hoping the 23's will be super cushioned and maybe they will be better
