PRE-RACE ACTIVITY 1 - RELAY BY THE BAY
Join us for a sneak preview of the ASICS Relay Philippines at SM By The Bay on 6 April 2018!
Our pre-race activity will be packed with a hearty running workout along part of the actual ASICS Relay Philippines race route, a relaxing yoga cool down session, fun bites and freebies!

Time: 6pm to 9pm
Venue: SM By The Bay (Central Park - Fountain)
Cost: Free. It's totally on us! (While we hope to see you at ASICS Relay Philippines, you do not need to be a participant to register for this activity.)

6pm to 6.15pm - Registration
Mark your attendance at our booth. Learn more about ASICS Relay and approach our host with your questions!

6.15pm to 6.30pm – Find out more about ASICS Relay
Stand a chance to win exciting prizes if you answer quizzes about ASICS Relay correctly!
6.30pm to 7pm – Warm up by our Fitness Coaches
Join our fitness coaches as they share on proper running forms and lead you in warm up exercises. The warm up is a combination of muscle stretches and aerobic movements that gradually increase your heart rate to help you achieve optimum performance!
7pm to 8pm – RELAY BY THE BAY STARTS
As this is a sneak preview of ASICS Relay Philippines, the concept of this run will be similar to what you'll expect on race day! The difference is that as a team of 4, you will be completing 10km (instead of 21km or 42km on race day).
Prior to the start of the run, participants will be sorted into teams of 4. If you come as a group of 4 friends, you can form your own team! Each runner will run 2.5km.
The 1st runners will each be given a relay token and will run with it for 2.5km. As they end their run, they will run into the Transition Area and pass their relay tokens to the 2nd runners. This repeats for the 3rd runners. The run will end when the 4th runners cross the finish line.
Here's when you can go wild and cheer on your teammates as they conquer their 2.5km!
8.10pm to 8.30pm – Cool down with Yoga
Enjoy the night sea breeze after the run with a 20-minute yoga session. Discover a variety of stances that you can practice with your teammates!
8.30pm to 9pm – Refreshments + Questions & Answers about ASICS Relay Philippines
End off the activity with some quick bites of delightful sandwiches, bananas and more!
