Adeline Gray was born on January 15, 1991 in Denver, Colorado to parents, George and Donna Gray. She began her wrestling journey with her father’s help. Her father, the youngest of seven boys, found his hands full with four daughters. He taught them something he knew and loved—wrestling. His passion for wrestling quickly became hers. Adeline started wrestling at six years old, winning three Boys State Championship titles and placing at every state tournament she competed in.

In 2009, she achieved her main goals of earning a roster spot on both the Junior and Senior World Team. That same year, Adeline took home a bronze medal at World Cup in China. She dislocated her kneecap in the next match; resulting in a very long surgical road. Adeline competed in her first match back in March of 2011 in Bulgaria. In her last Jr. World Championships she placed 2nd and Team USA took home a 3rd place team title.

In 2012, Adeline made the World Team and won the World Championship. The following year, 2013, she took third place at the Worlds. In 2014, she was the U.S. World Team Trials champion and World Champion.

Adeline currently competes at the 75 KG weight division on her 5th World Team, which is currently ranked number one in the world. She is a U.S. Olympic Training Center resident-athlete and she graduated with a business degree at DeVry University.
