Pronation

Pronation is part of the natural movement of the human body and refers to the way your foot rolls inward for impact distribution upon landing. Understanding your pronation type can help you find a comfortable running shoe. The DYNABLAST is made for Underpronation and Neutral.

  • Neutral
  • Over

Underpronation

  • Foot Type

    High arches
  • Push Off

The pressure is on smaller toes on outside of foot.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The outer side of the heel hits the ground at an increased angle with little or no normal pronation, causing a large transmission of shock through the lower leg.

Neutral

  • Foot Type

    Normal size arches
  • Push Off

There is even distribution from the front of the foot.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Slightly Disappointed I had high hope since I have been running in Asics shoes for a long time. The positives about this shoe is that they're very light, comfortable, and the colors are amazing especially since no other shoe company makes colorful shoes for men. The downside is support, side walls are too thin, the front tongue is too thin and therefore you get no support when running around the ankle and less stability. I had the Asics GT 2000-8 before theses and the difference is galaxies apart. This shoe is great for walking and wearing around but for running in terms of comfort (padding and fit) stability, and feel, these don't make great running shoes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Asics Dynablast Iam 6" 3 inches 185 lbs, I have run apx 50 miles so far in my DYNABLAST, consisting of road and treadmill, they are great, lightweight, fast, comfortable, with just the perfect amount of cushioning for speed runs on treadmill. I prefer a little more cushioning on pavement runs. my only issue is durability, you can already see wear on the bottom heel, I think this models soles are not as durable a soles in older Asics like the Gel Nimbus or Kayano.
