The standard (medium) width for women is B, while the standard width for men is D. Shoe boxes and labels will only identify widths other than standard. Within the shoes, wide and narrow widths are identified on the label, underneath the tongue — ie. T005N(2E).

When is additional width needed?
Visible stretching or bulging on the outsides of forefoot materials is a good indicator that additional width may be needed. These sizes are available in many of our Running and Training shoes. In some cases, men can wear women’s styles to achieve a narrow fit and women can wear men’s to get a wide. If this is needed, please use the references above to determine comparable size lengths. Please note that the differences of width between narrow, standard, wide, and extra wide are usually only a couple millimeters and are proportional to the size of the shoe. Most additional width will be found in the forefoot.

Pronation

Pronation is part of the natural movement of the human body and refers to the way your foot rolls inward for impact distribution upon landing. Understanding your pronation type can help you find a comfortable running shoe. ASICS DynaFlyte 2 is made for under, neutral.

How Your Foot Contacts the Ground

Push Off
The pressure is on smaller toes on outside of foot.
Considered Injuries
Plantar fasciitis, Shin splints, Ankle strain.

How Your Foot Contacts the Ground
The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.
Push Off
There is even distribution from the front of the foot.
Considered Injuries
Less likely due to effective shock absorption, but neutral runners are not immune to injury.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoes they are very comfortable. I normally wear a mens 13 but ordered a 12 and they fit perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit right out of the box, cool colors History with foot issues, these shoes offer a comfortable fit and can be worn for long periods of time... I don’t use them for running, 2 artificial hips, but for walking and everyday use

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dream sneaker that encourages you to run faster Pros: Great heel to toe drop, really helps you keep your fast stride when running. Lightweight enough that you forget your're wearing shoes. Stylish and great colors, already gotten compliments on them. They breathe amazingly well, and will keep your feet cool. Cons: If you tighten the toe box too much, you risk tearing the fabric, these are meant to be lightweight, not super durable in the upper material. It isn't the most snug in the heel, making you think you might slip out of them until you get use to them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light and confortable I bought it two weeks ago and used it twice. Used to run with nimbus. Dynaflyte are comfortable and stable but not cushioned as the nimbus, probably for long runs you’ll feel that But for no more then 10mi runs they are ok Durability: we will see!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these shoes! This is my 3rd pair. Light and just enough cushion that I can feel the road without taking a beating. Looks narrow but actually has a nice toe box. True to size or maybe even a little bigger. Holds up great, very well made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So nice I bought them twice. I put 700 miles on my last pair and they maintained great outer and upper condition. Yes the cushion was blown out but really didn’t affect my performance. The new pair I purchased feels sooo good. Really comfortable and smooth. Great pop and enjoy running in these. I use these on roadways mostly and love the performance. Simple. Thanks ASICS!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My perfect show I have been running in ASICS since I began running about 3 years ago. I started out looking for shoes in a big box sporting goods store and liked the feel of ASICS Contend 3 among the brands I tried (Nike, Brooks, Saucony). As I continued my running, I moved onto Cumulus 18 and then Cumulus 19 (which I loved). Recently I became intrigued after reading about the potential advantages of a lighter shoe but was afraid to give up the great cushioning of ASICS. I tried the DynaFlyte 2 nd got both! They're light and comfortable but with that great cushioning with both the FlyteFoam itself and the gel. In fact, as soon as I saw the DynaFlyte 3s come out, I quickly bought 2 more pairs of DynaFlyte 2s before they became unavailable. I'm training for my first half-marathon and I don't want to have to change shoes between training and the race.
