Pronation

Pronation is part of the natural movement of the human body and refers to the way your foot rolls inward for impact distribution upon landing. Understanding your pronation type can help you find a comfortable running shoe. The DynaFlyte 3 Lite-Show is made for Neutral and Underpronation.

Neutral

  • Foot Type

    Normal size arches
  • Push Off

There is even distribution from the front of the foot.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.

Underpronation

  • Foot Type

    High arches
  • Push Off

The pressure is on smaller toes on outside of foot.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The outer side of the heel hits the ground at an increased angle with little or no normal pronation, causing a large transmission of shock through the lower leg.

Product Features

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Painful to ware I was very excited to receive these shoes and couldn't wait to try them. Everything was great until I started feeling a sharp pain in the right heel about 3 miles into the run. I tried the shoes a couple more times, but it was too painful having them on my feet. Not sure what shifted in the shoe, but they became unusable for me, so I returned them. Two weeks after I returned them, I received them back---no explanation, no refund, nothing. I have been chasing customer service since then by calling and emailing, but still don't know what's going on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High arch really love them, not a runner, but have feet issues with neuropathy and need a high arch, which I use an orthotic, but shoe is light, flexible, and I used to wear adidas bounce, and could not find the old ones that my foot had grown to love, switched to these and happy feet, good value too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid shoe, meets expectations Comfortable right out of the box to wear, but took some adjusting and wearing in to find the right fit for long-distance comfort. I was running in Cumulus 20's and wanted to go lighter... These definitely are! Excited to rack up the miles.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Na They are not the gel soles and I have used the nimbus and those were way more comfortable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really liked these while they lasted... I bought these shoes about three months ago for this track season. I'm a sprinter/hurdler, so I wore these only a few times per week during practice and during lifting (I have another pair of shoes I wear for day to day, so the only mileage these got was for track). While they were pretty comfortable and didn't feel too heavy, the bottoms are starting to separate from the rest of the shoe. I don't know if this is due to the design of the shoes or if I just run really aggressively, but I won't be able to make them last the rest of the competitive season. They may work for someone who uses them for running distance and isn't constantly accelerating/decelerating. I really did like them while they lasted, though I don't think it was worth the money for shoes that only lasted for half the season. I've worn every pair of shoes I've used for track to near flat, but have never had a pair literally fall apart on me during the season.
