Product Details

Faster, lighter, stronger and sustainable. The next evolution of the unstoppable franchise, DynaFlyte 3 incorporates an all-new, even lighter FlyteFoam® Lyte midsole with premium rebound and durability. Its flexible yet supportive Adapt Mesh upper moves dynamically with your foot for customized, breathable fit that complements heel-to-toe GEL® cushioning and full-ground contact. Constructed with recycled materials and non-harming chemicals, the Sound model employs a holistic and environmentally conscious mindset surrounding our personal footprint.

Pronation

Pronation is part of the natural movement of the human body and refers to the way your foot rolls inward for impact distribution upon landing. Understanding your pronation type can help you find a comfortable running shoe. The DynaFlyte 3 Sound is made for Neutral and Underpronation.

  • Neutral
  • Over

Neutral

  • Foot Type

    Normal size arches
  • Push Off

There is even distribution from the front of the foot.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.

Underpronation

  • Foot Type

    High arches
  • Push Off

The pressure is on smaller toes on outside of foot.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The outer side of the heel hits the ground at an increased angle with little or no normal pronation, causing a large transmission of shock through the lower leg.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Deteriorates Quickly Started committing to running again after a long time off and needed a starter shoe to see if I really was willing to commit. After 30 miles I felt ready to go the distance. Unfortunately these shoes have underperformed in my opinion. The tread has worn out pretty fast for regular road running and the mesh material on the shoe gets beaten up pretty quick. I purchased this shoe end of march 2020 and as of early May, I have seen this shoe deteriorate faster than any other running shoe I have ever had. There were some major tears In the Mesh from daily activity and running. I expressed my concerns with the shoe to ASICS customer service and they said they would look into covering the shoe under the warranty but after checking with them and getting no response, and seeing that the shoes were losing tread and looking very worn very quickly, I needed to find a better pair and went back to Saucony. overall, this would be a fine shoe if you are looking for something to walk in, or travel about your day, and workouts in the gym or on the treadmill, but heavy running or street running I would be careful because while it does have average cushioning, for me I needed and hoped for more. I am bummed because this was my first time buying a pair of ASICS and I have heard good things about the reliability of their shoes, but seeing how they treat this shoe and response to me as a customer will make me think again before I purchase from ASICS in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy and Feels Fast These feel super soft, yet light. The cushion was definitely the first thing I noticed, but once I got into my first run with them, the responsiveness felt great. I think I have found my new go-to shoe for half- and full marathons. The look certainly doesn't hurt, either!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit It’s like I’m running on a cloud. The best part is that they didn’t take long to break in.
