The standard (medium) width for women is B, while the standard width for men is D. Shoe boxes and labels will only identify widths other than standard. Within the shoes, wide and narrow widths are identified on the label, underneath the tongue — ie. T005N(2E).

When is additional width needed?
Visible stretching or bulging on the outsides of forefoot materials is a good indicator that additional width may be needed. These sizes are available in many of our Running and Training shoes. In some cases, men can wear women’s styles to achieve a narrow fit and women can wear men’s to get a wide. If this is needed, please use the references above to determine comparable size lengths. Please note that the differences of width between narrow, standard, wide, and extra wide are usually only a couple millimeters and are proportional to the size of the shoe. Most additional width will be found in the forefoot.

Pronation

Pronation is part of the natural movement of the human body and refers to the way your foot rolls inward for impact distribution upon landing. Understanding your pronation type can help you find a comfortable running shoe. ASICS DynaFlyte 3 is made for under, neutral.

How Your Foot Contacts the Ground

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great so far! I had to get new running sneakers because my past sneakers were causing too many foot issues. I went to my local running store and they suggested these. Tried them and they fit perfectly. The one thing I noticed first was the support. It pretty much hugged my foot making it feel ultra secure. As a runner you do not want your foot flying around in your shoe. Comfort is a 10 as well. Nothing stood out or felt like it was irritating my foot. These are a very light and the energy return is about a 8 out of 10. Foot strike felt very firm which was something I wan't used to. Prior to these I had the Adidas Ultra Boosts and my foot strike felt uber soft. However, more goes into a running shoe besides that. While not as cushiony soft as the boosts were, these are not too far off. I've been running on these for around a month or so and have been pushing my mileage and I have to report that I have not had my tendonitis in my toes return. Please note I am pushing 25+ miles a week. Hoping that piece of information helps others who are runners. The only thing I did wish these sneakers had was some more reflectivity. I usually run in the streets and need to be visible to traffic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PLEASE READ!! I bought mine a few weeks ago and love them!!! Very good support, well balanced and comfortable! If you’re flatfooted DONT BUY. Don’t go up a 1/2 inch either. Get the same size you normally where.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light Weight! I just retired a pair of GEL-Kayano 25s and decided to switch from a more stable running shoe to a lighter weight, more neutral running shoe. I've been running with my DynaFlyte 3s since Sept. 6 (40 miles) and I'm happy so far. The shoes are comfortable and lightweight, and I have no complaints! ASICS and Adidas continue to be my choice brands for running shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New outsole and midsole, great ride The dynaflyte 1 and 2 had the same midsole and outsole, and therefore rode pretty similar. Yes ASICS messed up the sizing on the 2, but we won't talk about that. This midsole and outsole is totally different and brand new design-wise, and they fit closer to the dynaflyte 1. Not quite as snug, but typical "ASICS sizing" which is basically a quarter to a half size small. There is no trustic support on the arch, so these ride super soft and neutral. Beautiful upper, with lots of room. I love the laces that come with these. Nice touch that shows these are a little higher end.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Feel the breeze I always wear Asics due to it's innovative products and durability. I would recommend Dynaflyte 3 for it's good fit, light weight and bounce back mechanism.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Favorite Shoe I liked the look of the shoe so I decided to try it out as I liked another Dynaflyte. This shoe is Amazing. It is lightweight and has all the protection that i need under my foot. It allows me to run fast when I want to but also has the cushioning I need on my longer runs! I cant wait to get more runs in with this shoe.
