How your foot contacts the ground
The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.
The FUJI LITE™ 3 shoe is inspired by the Hinoki Cypress tree that's native to Mount Fuji. It keeps you focused on the path ahead and guides you towards a more positive mindset.
Key updates include a greater percentage of recycled textiles for the upper construction. This allows us to reduce waste and re-use leftover resources.
Following a sustainable design approach, the reshaped FLYTEFOAM® midsole is formed with recycled materials. This foam creates lightweight shock absorption, propelling your stride forward as you move through the trails.
Lastly, the shoe's outsole is designed to increase traction on muddy or loamy surfaces.

Comfortable shoe
I wear running shoes because im on my feet 9 hrs a day at work and walk most of those hrs. Asics makes a great shoe and these are vwry comfortable.

Good fit, roomy toe box, lightweight daily trainer
Wide toe box, super breathable, lightweight (my US12 weighs 295g), low drop at 4mm, stack height is in the sweet spot for the running I do (6-20 miles). Haven't used on super muddy track yet, but lug depth is good for most things, and works well for me as a road-to-trail. Please, please, please ASICS keep making low drop (4mm or less) shoes like this and maybe in some better color ways. Solid colors are ok by me. I like many of the new model colors that have been released for 2023-2024, however, many of those are higher drop so not for me.

Very happy.
Very happy. I've been wearing ASICS for many years now, but started getting Plantar Fasciitis. These shoes are so comfortable, and no foot pain at all.

Stuff sole and not minimalistic
I was hoping for something more minimalistic like my former fujilyte trail runners but these have a stiff sole that I don’t like and are much different than the originals. Makes me sad since I loved the original model but definitely don’t plan on buying them anymore if this is what they are made like now.
