The GEL-CONTEND™ 6 (Wide) running shoe offers excellent support and comfort for running, commuting or all-day casual-wear. The updated version of this performance running style is complemented with a wider fit for runners who require more width in their footwear. In this update, we've made the heel collar even softer for a silky feel against the skin. Ample cushioning comes from rearfoot GEL® technology, an AMPLIFOAM™ midsole and an OrthoLite™ sockliner. Support stems from an internal heel counter and overlays that help to hold the foot in place while the injection rubber outsole and toe reinforcement give this shoe better durability. A breathable mesh upper promotes plenty of airflow to keep your feet comfortable and happy. No More Pain![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have struggled with severe back pain for a long time. I have also always had severe for pain if I am walking or standing for more than 30 minutes. Theses shoes are a game changer! I have gone on hikes and walks with my family. I have also gone shopping for groceries and done a lot of running errands while wearing them with almost no pain. I am going to buy a couple more pairs to save for these wear out.
