The standard (medium) width for women is B, while the standard width for men is D. Shoe boxes and labels will only identify widths other than standard. Within the shoes, wide and narrow widths are identified on the label, underneath the tongue — ie. T005N(2E).

When is additional width needed?
Visible stretching or bulging on the outsides of forefoot materials is a good indicator that additional width may be needed. These sizes are available in many of our Running and Training shoes. In some cases, men can wear women’s styles to achieve a narrow fit and women can wear men’s to get a wide. If this is needed, please use the references above to determine comparable size lengths. Please note that the differences of width between narrow, standard, wide, and extra wide are usually only a couple millimeters and are proportional to the size of the shoe. Most additional width will be found in the forefoot.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fell Apart Fast! I purchased this shoe for myself. I love Asics running shoes but I don’t run often. My work out is more of a Crossfit with cardio. The first week (did a plank work out)the rubber on the toe had started to peel away. A couple weeks later while doing a lunch Work out the bottom split! I don’t think the company missed the mark on this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed This was supposed to be a replacement for my GelQuantum 180TR, but it miserably failed. There is little or no cushion and the toe box is loose and sloppy. It was like wearing slippers. They were promptly returned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this shie Very happy with this shoe for running, walking and working out. I do CrossFit, plyometrics, and HIIT workouts and they are sturdy and supportive. They could use a little more grip but overalll I love them. The only down side and I have this with most of the shoes I get, is that my toe is already starting to wear through and I have only had the shoes for less then a month.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks great, not Doc approved. I have foot injuries on both feet (fell down the stairs & tendinitis - yay) and my doctor explained I needed new sneakers with great support as I make my way clumsily through life. He gave me a list of items to look for including a shoe with great arch support, something not flimsy, and for the bottom to have multiple foam structures - sounds easy enough. As I read through the reviews this sneak' seamed to be the 'shoe that fit'. Now after purchasing, I'm realizing that the shoe my doctor described is about as common as a Big Foot sighting (all puns intended). PROS: Looks great, matches most outfits, has better support than my old sneakers - especially around the heel, very comfortable. CONS: Hardly fits any of the criteria from my doctor (add face palm here). The shoe is flimsy and I would not recommend to someone looking for a sneaker that has great support. Doc said it's basically a flip flop with a mesh top. In the end I'm happy with my purchase, and would recommend to someone who just needs comfy shoes to get through their day.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Uncomfortable Thes shoes felt like they had no cushion. Sent them back

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ho Hum The shoe is not as comfortable as the previous model. No tongue strap for laces to secure. I really feel like every new update reduces comfort and detail. Asics, you guys need to beef it up. It gets more disappointing with each model update.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as good as TR 3 Had I never tried Gel-Craze TR 3, I would say these are the best training shoes I’ve ever worn. I am a fitness instructor and use these shoes daily in my Zumba and strength training classes. The overall performance of the shoe is very good. Flexible and light, yet provides the absolute best shock absorption and impact support than any other shoe I’ve tried. I get pain in my Achilles and plantar fasciitis and these shoes essentially take that pain away. However, I do have to replace the insoles with something that has better shock absorption, in order to get the most out of these shoes. I don’t feel that they last as long as the TR 3. They are not as sturdy, definitely. They feel a little loose in the heel. And the support isn’t as good, also. Whatever you guys did to change this shoe, CHANGE IT BACK, PLEASE! The TR 3 was far superior; it was the best shoe I’ve ever tried. And the TR 4 just doesn’t do as well. I probably can get 5 months out of this shoe before I need to replace it. As far as sizing goes: this shoe fits true to size. However, if you plan on replacing the insole with something high volume, I would go up 1/2 a size. Other than its inability to measure up to the previous model, this shoe is undefeated in performance quality. I have high arches, supination, issues with Achilles pain/plantar f, and a need for high impact support. If this sounds like you, it’s worry trying this shoe out.
