The GEL-CUMULUS® 22 Tokyo running shoe is the recommended choice for neutral runners who want a soft and flexible everyday trainer with a great fit. Featuring a limited model offering, this iteration is displayed with a Sunrise Red colorway to symbolize and celebrate the city of Tokyo and the country of Japan. This update features a one-piece mesh upper that's combined with a seamless 3D print construction to improve support and comfort around the foot. The FLYTEFOAM® technology in the midsole is softer than the previous version to promote a pillowy ride. Under the heel where the foot first hits the ground has been redesigned to isolate impact while the new heel design's deeper forefoot flex grooves and softer midsole foam create a smoother ride. Lastly, a hard-wearing AHAR® rubber outsole compound has been placed in key contact areas to help the GEL-CUMULUS® 22 Tokyo shoe stand up to a ton of miles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe I love these shoes. Great fit and foot support. I normally buy a lower price shoe because I wear them out real fast at work but I will buy these in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as great as the Cumulus 21 I just love Gel-Cumulus, but this newer model is a little less satisfying...maybe because I have high arches (which these are supposed to help support) but the laces barely tie because the sides don't come up as high as they need to, so I had to buy longer laces. I know some were saying they ran small, which I didn't find in the length, but just across the top is too small. A little frustrating since I can't return!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Received defective shoes I have bought & loved several of these shoes. Never been disappointed until I got these. I immediately went to run in them, because I’ve had several pairs & didn’t expect to receive a defective pair. The right shoe was shorter than the left & caused pain in my toes as they were rubbing against the top of the shoe. I contacted customer service & was told I would not be offered an exchange because I didn’t have the tags & had ran in them. Very disappointing & I will not buy from asics again. Terrible way to resolve a long time customers complaint.
