Go wherever the trail takes you in the durable and rugged GEL-Kahana® 8 shoe. Feel the energetic bounceback of the SpevaFoam™ Midsole and rearfoot GEL® cushioning as you connect with the ground and push past the outdoor elements. Reversed lugs on the outsole deliver enhanced traction that's essential for the path less followed.
Pronation
Pronation is part of the natural movement of the human body and refers to the way your foot rolls inward for impact distribution upon landing. Understanding your pronation type can help you find a comfortable running shoe. The GEL-Kahana 8 is made for Overpronation and Neutral.

Great shoes
I’ve never ordered sneakers online before but these fit perfectly and are very comfortable. Definitely recommend these for all day wear.

Great shoe
Great shoe. This is the only model shoe I have consistently bought since 2010. Great multipurpose shoe. I’ve used this for just about everything, everyday wear, road run, trail run, and hiking. Good support for my 220lb frame. Too bad it looks to be discontinued w/o a replacement.

Great shoe, too bad they look to be discontinued.
I thoroughly enjoyed these shoes. This has been the ONLY model trail shoe I’ve bought consistently since 2010 starting with the Kahana 2 version. These have proven sturdy and comfortable. They have adequate support for my 220#+ frame and with new insoles help with my overpronation. I have used these as a multipurpose shoe doing everything from everyday wear, road running, backpacking, and trail running. These have performed wonderfully on technical and rocky surfaces. Minus 1 star because there is not a Kahana 9 version or an obvious successor, otherwise this would have been a 5 star review.

I will not be back.
The laces are VERY difficult to adjust! I appears that your other designs are similar.

Gel Kahana 8.
Very good for my over pronating feet, and extra wide feet.
no extra insoles needed.
Look nice.
Good stability for trail running. My favorite trail running shoes So far. But not super lite for long pavement run.
