Enjoy luxurious comfort and improved bounce with the men's GEL-KAYANO® 26 running shoe, featuring GEL® technology to the forefoot and rear for high-density shock absorption and a comfortable feel over long distances. Featuring a jacquard mesh upper and FLYTEFOAM® Propel technology for a lightweight quality that allows your feet to breathe, this ASICS running shoe is all about going the distance, providing exceptional support and comfort over long periods of time. The EVA sockliner offers excellent rebound and cushioning, while the Guidance TRUSSTIC SYSTEM® technology brings a new level of stability, working with the contoured midsole to help control torsion. Meanwhile, the SpEVA 45 lasting improves bounce-back characteristics to put a spring in your step (quite literally). If your feet tend to roll inwards as you run, fret not. The DUOMAX® midsole offers smooth overpronation control by combining two different density materials to reduce the risk of flat feet and bunions. Meanwhile, the AHAR® rubber sponge helps to reduce excessive wear for a longer lifespan. This edition of the GEL-KAYANO® 26 running shoe showcases a vibrant new design to inspire you to unleash your inner runner, on those days when you might need a little extra motivation, while added reflective details improve your visibility when you're out after-dark.
Pronation
Pronation is part of the natural movement of the human body and refers to the way your foot rolls inward for impact distribution upon landing. Understanding your pronation type can help you find a comfortable running shoe. The GEL-KAYANO 26 is made for Neutral and Overpronation.

Kayano 26s
Very happy with these shoes. Fits right and I have been happily pain free in my feet since returning to the Kayanos. If you are an over pronator like me, these are a godsend.

Great shoe but wears out fast
Comfortable running shoe that runs true to size. Only drawback is that the soles seem to wear out faster now. I used to never wear through them. Last 5 years or so I have worn through them into the foam in 9 months. Rubber is less dense.

Poor Quality
Very comfortable shoe and good for running, just not good quality. I’m a big fan of ASICS but this shoe did not live up to the reputation of the brand because the toe is already falling apart on both shoes.

My new found favorites
I had read a few reviews but honestly didn’t know what to expect. I had always purchased Brooks stability shoes. I’m glad I found these. They are very sturdy and comfortable, while also being 10x better looking than just about any Brooks

Don't Buy These Shoes
Bought these to try to save some money instead of buying my usual Nike's. Word of advice you get what you pay for, spend the extra money and buy something better. As the saying goes, "buy it right or buy it twice".
