Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the Kinsei Shoe - BUT.... Love the Kensei shoe in general. Thought I'd try these out. My teenage kids said the colors were "sick", so got approval there. The shoe is comfortable, just like a Kinsei. The problem I have is this particular shoe rides high (in the ankle area) and rubs on my ankles. If there is any kind of running or training, it's uncomfortable. I tried two different sizes, thinking maybe that would solve the issue, but it did not. I'm also wearing insoles, that push my foot higher than normal. Which one would think would alleviate the ankle issue - no. I tried taking the insoles out, putting the original insole in, and it rubbed worse. Also, the forward outer side of the tongue (on the inside of the shoe) if not laying flat, rubs on your outer pinky toe joint. Feels like a rock is in your shoe on the upper part of your foot. Not good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable but.... I like this shoe BUT it's too high on the ankle. I've ordered two thus far in different sizes thinking it was a size issue, but not so. It rubs on my ankle bones. Also the outer tongue material, by toes, rubs on my feet the wrong way. You have to make sure all the material of the tongue by the toes is laying flat or it bunches up.
