This model features a retro look and is an update on an early 2000s original that blends the best in technology and premium style. This progressive design features I.G.S® (Impact Guidance System) technology to help your feet perform in a way that enhances natural gait.Great cushioning comes from the GEL® technology in the heel, while support and stability come from the ORTHOLITE™ sockliner and TRUSSTIC SYSTEM® technology under the midfoot. Overall, this shoe has great durability thanks to the AHARPLUS™ heel plug and keeps feet fresh with the mesh material upper. Cant believe your cutting them. I love these! Not
I'm so comfortable in these shoes and their very lightweight also. I own a good selection of asics running shoes and these are definitely one of my faves! Why are they no longer available? Very sad.

Most comfortable shoe Yet!
These shoes were comfortable from the moment I put them on!
There’s a much appreciated decrease in my knee pain after long stretches in these shoes.

Greatest sport shoe ever made!
I have used Asics for years for running, walking, even wrestling. By far these Gel-Kinsei are the most comfortable and best performing shoes I have ever owned. I use them for all types of workouts and walks. I highly recommend!

Not like previous Kinsei shoes
I recently bought the Kinsei OG as I have been a long time fan of this particular model of shoe, I have been wearing them for many years have had several of the different Kinsei models and several pairs of each of them. However, this one is different. The majority of the reason why the Kinsei has always been a great shoe is because of how flexible the upper was by using the FluidFit. These new ones do not have the FluidFit and are stiff on the entire upper. The toe box is also VERY tight. I'm so disappointed as I have been waiting for the new release for over a year and I can't get the older models in my size anymore.
