The standard (medium) width for women is B, while the standard width for men is D. Shoe boxes and labels will only identify widths other than standard. Within the shoes, wide and narrow widths are identified on the label, underneath the tongue — ie. T005N(2E).

When is additional width needed?
Visible stretching or bulging on the outsides of forefoot materials is a good indicator that additional width may be needed. These sizes are available in many of our Running and Training shoes. In some cases, men can wear women’s styles to achieve a narrow fit and women can wear men’s to get a wide. If this is needed, please use the references above to determine comparable size lengths. Please note that the differences of width between narrow, standard, wide, and extra wide are usually only a couple millimeters and are proportional to the size of the shoe. Most additional width will be found in the forefoot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 2-cents on the Nimbus 20 I purchased this shoe almost entirely because of the way it aesthetically pleased me. I rotate other shoes from different brands throughout my runs, and I didn't think it would be a bad idea to throw another pair into the mix. However, the feeling of running in these shoes is not what I'm currently accustomed to, so I'm just going to use them as casual kicks from now on. For a shoe that's competing with other "high cushioned" shoes at this price-point, I found it very lacking in the "cushioning" department. I almost want to say that instead of absorbing the shock with each stride, the shoes are simply instead transferring the energy into my legs in a way I'm not accustomed to because of how stiff the midsole is. I would describe running in these as comparable to having high-quality cardboard between my feet & the ground below. They're not plush at all, even when broken in. Maybe they will after 100 miles or so, but there's no way to tell up until then. I suppose time will eventually tell. That's not say however that these are inherently bad shoes per se; they just don't work for my legs &/or running form. Believe me, I work at a running specialty shop and sell the Nimbus to people all the time who find them perfectly fine for running purposes. This pair though just doesn't work for my stride I guess. Oh well. At least they look really cool! If you like "firm" in a running shoe, these will likely fit the deal for you. If you like intentionally conspicuous cotton-candy-colored shoes, then I don't see why you'd ever be disappointed by these.
