Feel the confidence to push your run further with the re-engineered GEL-NIMBUS® 21 extra wide width men's running shoe, designed to offer ultimate comfort and a perfect fit. These luxurious sports shoes for men feature FLYTEFOAM® Propel technology in the midsole to give you maximum bounce and help move you forward. Recommended for long distance, these shoes bring supreme comfort wherever you’re running. A new engineered mesh offers more breathability and support, and a spacious toe-box and GEL® technology in the forefoot give your feet more space to move. There’s also an external clutch counter to provide your heel with the excellent support, and a molded EVA sockliner that helps keep your feet comfortable and dry. With GEL-NIMBUS® 21 running shoes, you’ll feel the energy for an endless run. The addition of SPeVA® 45 lasting foam doesn’t just absorb shock – it also increases durability and rebound. And an all-new lateral full contact outsole gives you a smoother, more stable ride from heel strike to toe off. Comfortable, clever and stylish, the GEL-NIMBUS® 21 running shoes are the ideal choice for anyone looking for the ultimate way to go further.

Pronation

Pronation is part of the natural movement of the human body and refers to the way your foot rolls inward for impact distribution upon landing. Understanding your pronation type can help you find a comfortable running shoe. The GEL-NIMBUS 21 (4E) is made for Underpronation and Neutral.
  • Under
  • Neutral
  • Over

Underpronation

  • Foot Type

    High arches
  • Push Off

The pressure is on smaller toes on outside of foot.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The outer side of the heel hits the ground at an increased angle with little or no normal pronation, causing a large transmission of shock through the lower leg.

Neutral

  • Foot Type

    Normal size arches
  • Push Off

There is even distribution from the front of the foot.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit I love this show. It has the perfect fit: perfect firmness in the heel, nice space in the toe box, and a good amount of cushion in the sole.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoe but........ Great shoe but i have 1 complaint and 1 suggestion. The fabric used on inside lining of the shoe creates heat and moisture and should definitely be changed. My feet have never sweat while wearing socks in a shoe ever! When i take these off my socks are damp from the type of fabric used which is not breathable at all! Now for my suggestion, there should be more colors in the extra wide width.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Limited Extra wide selection... The shoes are great but I needed them for work. Could not get the EEEE in all black which was strange as work requires all black to wear on the sales floor. Still love Aisics as they will always be my favorite shoe...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nimbus 21 I have bought ASIC Nimbus for about 12 years and this version seems to be the stiffest and least cushioned. However, I am not an expert, figure it out for your self.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Size You've changed your size chart. Shoes are being returned as too small.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Thin insert or thick stitching? I feel the thick stitching on the bottom of the inside of the shoe under the insert near the outer edge of my toes. It is quite uncomfortable and have not had this experience with all prior Nimbus models.
