Run further than you thought possible in the GEL-NIMBUS® 21 LS running shoe for men by ASICS - packed full of plush cushioning and special technologies to respond to your natural stride. This special edition, part of our LITE-SHOW™ collection features added reflectivity to keep you visible when you run in low light. The GEL-NIMBUS® 21 LS shoe is fitted with our I.G.S® (Impact Guidance System) technology: a construction technique that allows the shoe to respond to your natural gait. A GUIDANCE LINE™ sole adds further gait efficiency so you can focus on pushing yourself further than ever, while TRUSSTIC SYSTEM® technology provides added stability. The upper is made from Jacquard mesh and will fit snugly, allowing air to flow and keep the foot fresh as you run and run. Our famous GEL® technology in the front and rear sole gives you energized cushioning in the form of shock-absorbing silicone for heavy-impact activity. Meanwhile, FLYTEFOAM® Propel technology in the midsole offers excellent bounce and toe-off. This lightweight foam formulation has a special high-energy return elastomer helping to put a spring in your step. Gain even more bounce with our SpEVA insole, which also helps the shoe last. To ensure a great fit, there's an external heel counter which holds your heel firmly, keeping you comfortable as you pound the miles. And we've added an AHARPLUS™ heel plug on the outsole to help you be able to run as long as you want. This ASICS High Abrasion Resistance Rubber is a tough rubber compound used to reduce excessive wear. If the light is dim you'll know you can be seen thanks to the LITE-SHOW™ technology reflective details we've included. All of this lets the shoe take the strain so you can concentrate on what matters: your breathing and pace.
Pronation is part of the natural movement of the human body and refers to the way your foot rolls inward for impact distribution upon landing. Understanding your pronation type can help you find a comfortable running shoe. The GEL-NIMBUS 21 LITE-SHOW is made for Underpronation and Neutral.
The pressure is on smaller toes on outside of foot.
How your foot contacts the ground
The outer side of the heel hits the ground at an increased angle with little or no normal pronation, causing a large transmission of shock through the lower leg.
Normal size arches
There is even distribution from the front of the foot.
How your foot contacts the ground
The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.

Change did not do me goodI returned them after wearing them 3 minutes in my living room. They hurt. I’ve never said that about the nimbus ever. Some people may like the change. I didn’t. I am now on the hunt for my new shoe unfortunately
