Providing the runner with excellent shock absorption and softness, the GEL-NIMBUS® 23 LITE-SHOW™ delivers more compression in the heel thanks to its softer GEL® technology cushioning unit and contoured design lines. Also, a gender-specific TRUSSTIC™ device provides an articulated amount of support in the right direction for men and women to help generate a smooth transition. Under the toe, the inclusion of gender-specific pillars help cushion the body and help runners experience a softer feel. Simultaneously, the OrthoLite™ X-55 sockliner equips runners with a forgiving, yet responsive stride. The components of the GEL-NIMBUS® 23 LITE-SHOW™ shoe help increase the softness without forgoing the integrity of the shoe's ride. Just ok
These are good quality shoes. The soles are supportive and feel great when standing. However, the heel area is slanted and digs into the backs of your heels leaving blisters. The angle also forces your feet forward so your toes hit the end of the shoes while walking. You can see the back of the heel slopes forward in the picture. I dont think ordering a bigger size would solve this problem, because the shoe would be too large otherwise and my foot would really slide around.

The last straw
I have worn gel nimbus or Kayano for many years. Each year I have to adjust to the new “renovations” of the shoes. Even though all my ASICS tend to fall apart very quickly even though I only walk in them and not run I love the cushion they have on my knees and correcting my incorrect way my ankles roll. Sadly this time around I think I might have to call it quits with ASICS. I ordered my usual size 10 and couldn’t believe how even more narrow they have gotten. I have narrow feet and they were too tight in the width. The length was too short but the toebox was the worst. Absolutely no room that you feel the bumps of the material of the shoe on the side of your toe. I ordered a 10 1/2 and was disappointed that they were too big. I also began to realize that there is practically no padding on the end of the shoe where the toe is. My big toes were numb after trying them ob after walking around the house. This was with the bigger size that was too big for me too. Anyways I think I need to look for shoes with another brand. ASICS just fall apart too easily and the fit and construction just isn’t comfortable anymore for me.

ASICS are the most comfortable sneakers ever. I can put them on and they are immediately comfortable and need no “ breaking in”. This is my third pair, I run in them and work in them, just amazing

THESE WERE A GIFT FOR CHRISTMAS AND I ALWAYS WEAR ASICS, HOWEVER THESE ARE THE WORST SHOES I HAVE EVER OWNED. MY LEFT FOOT HAS KILLED ME SINCE DAY 1 IN THESE SHOES AND ASICS WILL NOT DO A RETURN OR EXCHANGE BECAUSE THEY WERE WORN A FEW TIMES. BRING BACK THE NIMBUS 21 THEY WERE FANTASTIC
