Part of our EARTH DAY collection, this shoe features materials made from recycled textiles for a more sustainable design approach. The upper has been reimagined with a new engineered mesh that adjusts to your foot's natural shape while providing a comfortable midfoot hold. With the addition of an integrated support system, this application improves the heel fit and creates a more secure feel. Featuring a layer of GEL® technology cushioning in the heel to improve shock absorption, the shoe also integrates a FLYTEFOAM® midsole material that offers a softer and more supportive feeling at footstrike. Lastly, the DUOMAX® support system consists of a firmer density of foam placed on the medial side of the midsole to help reduce the foot's pronounced inward roll (overpronation) while improving stability.

Comfortable, stylish walkers
Did not buy these for running... strictly for a comfortable, good looking shoe. These are perfect. As someone who has suffered from plantar fasciitis, I swear by Asics. I love these.

Is it worth it.
I’ve been wearing series 7’s and I seen the new 1200s but the price was a little expensiveI on but I wanted to give them a try. Now I see why the price was up there I can’t go back to the sevens. Buy both pairs and you’ll see why.

Is it worth it.
I like the ASIC brand. They are comfortable and seem well constructed. But I saw these 1000s and wonder what the difference was in the price. Well now I know. Over double the exorbitance. I thought they were expensive. But after wearing them, I’m going to continue paying the price. Will you notice a difference. I did!

BE CAREFUL!
I bought the same style but different color in Oct. 2021. I have been wearing Asics for over 15 years and have purchased this model several times before. For some reason, this pair injured my foot after wearing them several times. I am at least 5 months out and still in pain. I put them on again and couldn't even walk in them. BE CAREFUL buying older models of running shoes. Maybe they're cheaper for a reason.
