The standard (medium) width for women is B, while the standard width for men is D. Shoe boxes and labels will only identify widths other than standard. Within the shoes, wide and narrow widths are identified on the label, underneath the tongue — ie. T005N(2E).

When is additional width needed?
Visible stretching or bulging on the outsides of forefoot materials is a good indicator that additional width may be needed. These sizes are available in many of our Running and Training shoes. In some cases, men can wear women’s styles to achieve a narrow fit and women can wear men’s to get a wide. If this is needed, please use the references above to determine comparable size lengths. Please note that the differences of width between narrow, standard, wide, and extra wide are usually only a couple millimeters and are proportional to the size of the shoe. Most additional width will be found in the forefoot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible quality I have been using GT 2000 since model 4. They kept getting better until this model, the 6. The mesh is not durable and breaks easily despite feeling rougher than previous models. I lost the toe nails (first time that happened) on my second toes after running a half marathon. The cushion is not as good as in model 4 or 5.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from GT-2000 6 Review I got the GT-2000 6’s as a warranty replacement for a pair of GT-2000 5’s I purchased in December 2017. I actually preferred the 5 over the 6, except the interior lining of the 6 seems like it will wear better and last longer. The interior of the 5 had a hole wear in it in less than 3 months.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the same shoe it was After just a few weeks of use, the material inside of both heels have worn off. The mesh upper also is wearing quickly. This is the same line of shoe in the same size that I've been wearing for 20 years, never with a problem before. Something's changed in terms of quality or shape/fit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The upper mesh is poorly made I bought these shoes Jan 25 2018 and in less than a month the upper mesh started separating and ripping. 60 days into the shoe both shoes completely blew out. Make sure you read the other reviews this is a very common issue. The shoes are defective.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the same GT I have been an avid user of the GT series for many years but something has changed with the 6. I now experience friction at the ball of my foot which I didn't have with the earlier models. I have tried new socks, on the same route, with no luck. I went and ran in my GT 4's and didn't have the friction. Might be time for a new brand/series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe I've been running in GT 2000 for years. Often go through 3-4 pair a year. Just got these last month and after 75 miles (including some long training runs), love them!! I like much better than GT 2000-5, which gave me blisters on toe on long runs and had inside heels that got torn up from taking shoes on/off. I really like this new model and will bring buying another pair as soon as purple is available.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor durability of the upper I love the fit of these. The addition of flyte foam makes for a cushioned yet responsive ride. And they are even lighter than previous versions. I has all the features to by me everyday go-to running shoe. BUT after 75 km the mesh upper is already tearing totally apart. What happened here? Do not buy this shoe before Asics will hopefully fix this and the next version. So please Asics. Fix it and bring back my favourite trainers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not durable They are tearing or stretching at the seams at both sides. I am an Asics fan but these are not very good
