For nearly 30 years, the GT-2000™ series has been the stability shoe of choice for a variety of runners, ranging from casual weekend warriors to top marathon finishers. If you're looking for a lightweight and cushioned running shoe to help support your foot, the GT-2000™ 9 (Narrow) model is an excellent choice. The fit of the GT-2000™ 9 (Narrow) shoe has been redesigned with a one-piece mesh construction to create an improved fit. This new upper material has also been reinforced in key areas for added support as the foot rolls through the gait cycle. The shoe's upper is also made with recycled materials, while the sockliner is produced with a solution dyeing process that reduces carbon emissions and water usage. Additionally, our distance running shoe is also complemented with a narrow fit for runners who require less width in their footwear. Lastly, a combination of FLYTEFOAM® technology and GEL® technology cushioning are positioned in the midsole to help promote lightweight comfort and reduce the overall shock from impact.

Excellent narrow shoe that is actually narrow!
I purchased these GT-2000 9 (2A) shoes in size 8 narrow for my 16 year old daughter last school year who runs track . Because of her narrow feet and it's very dfficult to find her any shoes at all, especially running shoes. We have tried another well-known brand that makes a "narrow" shoe, and they were way too wide for her feet. These are actually narrow as labeled, and she says they are extremely comfortable and supportive. They are also very stylish! I've just purchased another pair because these fit so well. Asics, please, please never stop making your narrow shoes, and please consider offering more color choices!

Toe Not Strong
I bought this shoe and LOVE the way it looks. It is a joy to find my size- 12 narrow. However, within a very short time, the toes on both shoes had holes worn in to them. My size is correct so it is not from the shoe being too short. I wanted to love it, and I do love other styles in my size- but this one disappointed and needs reinforcement at the toe. I wish ASICs would offer even more shoes in 12 narrow!!!

Not my favorite
I have had Asics before but I don't think these are the ones for me. My ankles hurt after running in them. I do love the color and the style. And the narrow width is fantastic.

One of the few narrow width sneakers available
I have a 3A foot with a 5A heel and ASICS is one of the very few manufacturers who makes an athletic shoe in a narrow width. Even the ASICS narrow is actually still too wide for me, but with an additional insole, very thick socks and replacing the laces with 45" ones, I can tie them tight enough to walk in. I do wonder why it is necessary to equip your narrow sneakers with 55" laces, though. If you need narrow width shoes, you're not going to need 55" laces. I wish you would reconsider that.
