Perfect (with one small issue)
Honestly, this shoe is perfect. I feel secure and mobile. The large curve on the heel feels great when taking your second-to-last step.
Visually it's one of the most unique shoes I've seen. Seriously ASICS, bring this Tokyo/Red colourway back.
The only issue is that the width runs a little tight so I recommend going up half a size from your normal shoe size.
I got them in an 11 and started noticing pain along my inner arch. I later found out thanks to Truefit that I should have gone with an 11.5. Unfortunately, they're sold out in this colour and probably won't bring them back.

Amazing Shoes! great performance. Simply the Best!
If you're going to be playing often then it just makes sense to get the best shoes you can which will enhance the experience. The shoes do help me jump higher and run better, and it's noticeable. An unexpected side effect is that people do compliment my shoes quite often, I guess the color really sticks out.

High price, high play
Great quality shoe, really good fit. Adjusts to ankle braces as well. One of the best shoes for the highest level of play possible.

METARISE TOKYO review!
Traction: 5/5 - the rubber compound used in the traction is VERY grippy, a few wipes here and there and I had 0 sliding issues.
Cushion: 4/5 - FINALLY an asics shoe with cushion. The cushion was a joy to play on, it isn't quite as good as something like adidas boost or full length nike air but it certainly is a good contender.
Materials: 5/5 - seemed solid, especially the rubber compound used

Fit: 5/5 I went true to size and they fit perfectly with just a little room to wiggle. If you are a wide footer I would absolutely recommend NOT going down half a size, just go true to size.
Support: 5/5* - this is the only place that was a little inconsistent. In the 10+ hours I played in them I had 2 instances where the lateral side of my mid foot rolled over the outrigger. It only happened twice, but other than that the support was excellent. No heel slipping or anything.
