Pronation is part of the natural movement of the human body and refers to the way your foot rolls inward for impact distribution upon landing. Understanding your pronation type can help you find a comfortable running shoe. The Metarun is made for Neutral and Overpronation.

  • Foot Type

    Normal size arches
  • Push Off

There is even distribution from the front of the foot.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.

  • Foot Type

    Low arches or flat feet
  • Push Off

Big toe and second toe do majority of the work.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The foot lands on outside of heel, then rolls inward (pronates) excessively, transferring weight to inner edge instead of ball of the foot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shoe, nice style, difficult to break in I bought these shoes at the ACISCS store about a year ago and loved them. I just bought my second pair. The shoes look great and provide a lot of support for running and cross training workouts at the gym. Only thing I found a bit difficult is that they take time to break in. They are hard for about 1 month of continuous wearing until you feel really comfortable in them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tried the Metarun for the first time and I couldn’t be more pleased! Great fit & comfortable. Sizing is normal for ASICS ( I wear an 8 is street shoes but an 8.5 in tennis/runnng shoes)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shoe fell apart after very little use. I have worn Asics running shoes for 20 years. I used to run in mainly the Kayano, but upgraded to the Metaruns once they came out. This shoe fell apart on me after very little use. I would not buy these again, as they are not worth it. Prior to the Metaruns, no other Asics running shoe ever fell apart. The soles of these shoes are peeling off and I almost tripped when they folded under my foot. Very shocking, and not worth the money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Quality I used them for less than a month for normal running on the treadmill and also working out in the gym. I'm really disappointed with this product. I used to have Asics GT 2000 and it worked really well but Metarun is a total disaster.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the Shoe!! I love the fit of the shoe, but the shoe laces are to short.
