There is even distribution from the front of the foot.
Less likely due to effective shock absorption, but neutral runners are not immune to injury.
How your foot contacts the ground
The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.

Ideal marathon shoeI was a fan of the OG Metaspeed sky- ran a significant half marathon PR in that shoe- but felt it was a bit too narrow and firm to go a full 26.2. These updates have addressed all of those concerns and from the moment I took my first run in these I knew I had found my marathon shoe. I have a wider forefoot and a higher volume foot overall- the upper fits perfectly and the width in the toebox is great. Step in comfort is lovely and I am still getting that nice assist from the shoe during faster running- easy runs were a minute/mile faster with no increase in effort. I also appreciate that this shoe feels a touch more stable than the old Metaspeed Sky, which will come in handy as I fatigue over long distances. This one is a winner in my book!
