There is even distribution from the front of the foot.
Less likely due to effective shock absorption, but neutral runners are not immune to injury.
How your foot contacts the ground
The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.
The METASPEED™ Sky racing shoe moves you towards a sound mind and a new personal best. It's designed to help you go faster by extending your stride length. Stride-style runners take a longer stride once they start increasing their speed, but their cadence primarily remains consistent. Thanks to an energetic midsole foam and a propulsive carbon plate, runners wearing these shoes will be able to conserve more energy while maintaining their pace at the later stages of the race.?

Better looks than feelsIt’s lightweight, with a nice bouncy spring added to every step but..These shoes make your foot turn inwards making it impossible to run in them without correction by putting pressure on the outer side of the heel. Also, not enough snugging around ankle, which makes them sort of lose and unstable

Too smallI have tried running in the Metaspeed Sky. The shoe is too small. I usually wear a 7 in the Kayanos and that has been consistent over the years. So, I assumed this was my size for this shoe also. I was wrong. The fit is too tight especially with a pair of running socks. I have not worn it since my first few trials. It is not comfortable. Is there any chance I can exchange this pair for a larger pair?

Great shoeI love the weight, the softness and the energy of this shoe. The sizing is a bit off, for me. My usual size felt too short, but half a size up felt a bit long. I would change the tongue, but everything else is great.

Racers vs trainersThis is definitely a “race fit” shoe. As an avid Novablast fan… these are notably lighter, and tighter. I wear a women’s 6 in the Novablast, but ordered a 6.5 for these shoes, and the fit is still slightly more snug without being too tight. There is a definite “sweet spot” to the foot strike. I thought I would notice the difference in toe drop by comparison to the Novablast, but it’s really been negligible. Highly recommend these shoes for endurance running!

Best Shoes EverBest shoes I’ve ever worn. Hands down. I’m a Noosa fan, I have had maybe 15 or more pairs, I like these even better. We need more colors!

BEWARE HEEL STRIKERSI bought these shoes after reading the specs that stated they were meant for neutral runners. i took them for a single run and loved the way they propel me forward. i felt amazing. to my dismay upon returning home, i noted a tear on the heel of both shoes. i contacted customer support and they told me that these shoes were not meant for heel strikers and that they had no support in that area of the sole and would fall apart as mine have done after 8 miles (on a track). Despite several back and forth emails about the misleading specs on the website and the poor build of the heel of the shoe, i have been told that i will not be able to return or exchange these very expensive shoes. super disappointing as i have been an asics runner for years and i was hoping to take my running to the next level by spending more on fancy shoes. I guess spending more actually gets you less when you are a normal every day runner. Just super disappointed in the brand and the customer service. so every day runner beware! if you intend for your heel to hit the ground, do not buy these shoes. they are not meant for you.
