Considered Injuries
Less likely due to effective shock absorption, but neutral runners are not immune to injury. -
How your foot contacts the ground
The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.
The METASPEED™ Sky racing shoe moves you towards a sound mind and a new personal best. It's designed to help you go faster by extending your stride length. Stride-style runners take a longer stride once they start increasing their speed, but their cadence primarily remains consistent. Thanks to an energetic midsole foam and a propulsive carbon plate, runners wearing these shoes will be able to conserve more energy while maintaining their pace at the later stages of the race.?

Metaspeed Sky Performance Enhancer 100%
Amazing shoe, ran the San Diego Marathon after only wearing them for a week prior to that and had no issues during the race. After that it has taken me a little while to adjust to the extra cushioning as I have ran in Nike Pegasus for years and those have very little foam. The shoes are very light, the material mesh airs out and you feel the air come through your feet when running, I love that! The laces are made of a cotton material instead of the high polyester material for most shoe laces are made of and that helps the knots stay in place, they don’t come unloose. I’m a 8.5 in regular shoes and ordered a 9 to have that extra space in the front for downhill running, originally wished I had ordered a 9.5 as they felt a bit tight for my personal preference, however after a few weeks they loosen up a bit. They still fit a little snuggle if I wear thicker running socks so will order a 9.5 when I get the new Metaspeed Sky+ (lime green/dark blue). As far as performance, I feel a difference when running fast (6-7 minute miles). I feel the shoes make me lean forward slightly making me use gravity to propel me forward and run on my toes naturally. In short, I do feel faster but that may be due to them being so light. Overall very satisfied, Nike has lost an all time customer and 10+ year runner. This shoe won me over for ASICS. <3

Fast, comfortable, but lacking durability
Great shoe, but exposed foam on heel worn down quickly (after only 2 runs)

Thin thin top fabric
The tops of these shoes are so thin, I've worn a 5 to 6 times and they already have a worn area on the top.

Not enough cushion on the bottom of the sneakers
Didn’t like the sneaker didn’t have enough cushion felt like I was running without support. No bounce on the run like Nike alphaflynext

Better looks than feels
It’s lightweight, with a nice bouncy spring added to every step but..These shoes make your foot turn inwards making it impossible to run in them without correction by putting pressure on the outer side of the heel. Also, not enough snugging around ankle, which makes them sort of lose and unstable
