Heel Drop

238 g/8.4 oz

Designed For Underpronation Neutral

  • Foot Type

    High arches
  • Push Off

The pressure is on smaller toes on outside of foot.
  • Considered Injuries

Plantar fasciitis, shin splints, ankle strain.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The outer side of the heel hits the ground at an increased angle with little or no normal pronation, causing a large transmission of shock through the lower leg.

  • Foot Type

    Normal size arches
  • Push Off

There is even distribution from the front of the foot.
  • Considered Injuries

Less likely due to effective shock absorption, but neutral runners are not immune to injury.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.
Our triathlon staple shoe, the Noosa FF™ 2 has been reinvented with our revolutionary FlyteFoam® Technology to create a responsive and lightweight ride. The seamless upper construction features a technical mesh that permits sockless wear, while the wet-grip outsole and heel/tongue grips allow for easy on/off access - ideal for triathletes looking to make a quick transition between race stages.
Style #: T819N.400
UPC #:
  • HG10MM® Heel Gradient
Shifts body mass forward reducing strain on lower limbs.
  • FlyteFoam® Midsole Technology
Our FlyteFoam® technology provides exceptional bounce back and responsiveness no matter the distance, utilizing organic super fibers to help reduce packing out that traditionally happens with softer, low density foams.
  • Discrete Eyelets
Independently placed eyelets disperse lace tension, creating a customized fitting environment and enhanced upper comfort.
  • Seamless Construction
The use of seamless materials reduces the potential for irritation and friction caused by traditional stitches and seams.
  • Rearfoot GEL® technology cushioning system
Attenuates shock during impact phase and allows for a smooth transition to midstance.
  • WET GRIP® Outsole
An outsole made from a special blend of organic and non-organic components, designed to enhance traction even on wet surfaces.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I miss the Tri series I have owned multiples of every Noosa since the Tri 6. I have only purchased 1 each of the f2f and this f2f hoping thos one was better. This ff series doesn't have the same support or grip as the older Tri shoes not to mention the bland colors. You can actually slip on wet tile in a noosa ff something the Tri shoes don't do. I have yet to find a shoe to replace the old stock tri 10s I've been wearing through but this shoe is a shell of its former self. I would reccoment you find an older Tri series online or look for a different shoe completely.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Downgrade from the Gel Series... The Gel Noosa Tri series was great! Comparing the two puts the Noosa FF 2 at a significant disadvantage. Why? (1) The FF 2 weighs a little less than my Tri 10s, but the sole feels much thinner. Basically, I can run long or do a bunch of sprints in my Tris and walk away feeling great, but doing the same work in the FF 2s leaves me with bruises or at least serious tenderness on the balls of my feet. (2) Lacing up the FFs is different; I don't know what it is, but with the Tris you could cinch them tight and have no issues. With the FF 2s, wearing them tightly causes the tongue to bunch up in a rather painful way. (3) The bland color scheme of the FF 2s takes away from the excitement. (4) The Tri series had better traction. (5) Did I mention the tame color scheme?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lost its way Ever since FF models have come out the redsign has left me looking for something else. Its too soft now and find they hurt my feet. Its such a shame as I've been such a supporter of this shoe. I still find older models on ebay and hope asics returns to the earlier design like that of the Noosa 8 which is the best version ever. Firm and awesome color designs.
