The NOVABLAST™ 2 PRE-SCHOOL shoe is the kid’s version of the iconic NOVABLAST™ series. It features an energetic bounce underfoot that’s inspired by the feeling of jumping on a trampoline. Created using a kid’s-specific last, these shoes offer a more accommodating fit for growing feet. With a solid rubber outsole and medial wrap-up, these shoes improve durability. Meanwhile, motivational details, like the phrase “Better your Best” appear on the outsole. We've also integrated our CUB MATCH™ sockliner to help kids recognize the left shoe from the right shoe.

Most comfortable shoes for my son’s achy heels

Good Look with Easy On
Great color. Best feature is easy on for an 8 year old. She prefers to wear shoes with no support or no shoes. The Nova Blast presents a favorable look for the 8 year old girl.

Velcro gave up after 3 months
As an ASICS running shoe devotee for 15+ years, I thought I'd buy a pair for my 5.5 y.o. boy hoping they might last long enough for his younger brother to wear... I was sadly proven wrong. The fabric by the toe was frayed after about a week and that is not surprising but the velcro on his right shoe has just given up and WILL NOT STICK any longer no matter what I do. I've cleaned it out of any debris and it still will not adhere. Also worth mentioning the velcro is NOT LONG ENOUGH to provide ankle mobility. Severely disappointed. His Nike sneaks have held up much better, sadly.
