The global ASICS FrontRunner team will gro to well over 700 runners in 2019, with 120 new spots up for grabs across the world.
The project, which began in 2010, has aspired to get the world moving through people’s shared passion of running. Ranging from beginners to top athletes, the unique collective of runners from across the globe all promote ASICS’ philosophy of ‘A Sound Mind in a Sound Body’ (Anima sana in corpore sano).
The ASICS FrontRunner community shares their passion, knowledge, training, fun and friendships at race days, through running clubs and local community initiatives, as well as online to their digital communities.
The strength of the current ASICS FrontRunner team can be accredited to its diverse members who include a mixture of marathon runners, triathletes, trail-runners, ultra-runners, beginners and those who just run for the fun of it, but also diverse in terms of the mix of age, social status or background.
This year, the focus is on performance and passion, but spaces are very limited. All applicants need to do to become a member of the team, is to demonstrate a strong passion for running, a desire to be part of the community and share their journey to inspire others along the way.
